Then they print out the forms so you can give it to an officer to write off the fix it and proof that you went. The ref also stamps the back of your ticket as well for verification.

so the main reason for the cop stopping you is because there's no front license plate? and then he got for for the exhaust afterward, or is it the other way around. cause i figured it's hard to spot a no license plate at night, especially if your car has HID. Where is this exactly?
Not that I'm being sarcastic, but I get a little paranoid every time I heard about no front license plate ticket. Make me feel like I should put my plate on.
