Oh come on, you were lucky enough to run 16's.

Believe it or not, 14.2 is actually decent (stock car, tires). Of course a 13.7 is better... but I am absolutely amazed how many S2000's I see running 15's and SLOWER because they can't launch.

I think you got a decent launch. 14.2 is pretty good for what your motor puts down. Just look at the trap speed. To get under 14secs you have to trap much higher than 96mph. Trap speed usually does not get affected too much by a bad launch.

Extended warranty covers clutch?

Weird.. I work at a Honda dealership and from what I understand, warranty doesn't cover wear and tear items.
thats what i thought.. normal wear and tear.. they wouldnt even cover my syncros on my old prelude back in the day....

I raced with the top up. Infineon won't even let you race with the windows down.

And yeah, it was nice seeing you. I don't live in the area.. was just strolling through with a friend of mine who lives 2 blocks away from ya!

Does anyone have a video of somebody doing 13.7 on a stock s2000? I heard of it, but I can't imagine launching at 7000 rpm. My tires always slip when I try to launch that high.
