golfing is great. if you only go to the driving range, try seeing if you can drag someone who's good to play the back 9 with you at an public course. you'll learn 10X faster playing 9 holes than you would hitting 1000 balls.

I just played Saturday in Manteca for the first time in about a month. I shot a 98 which blows, but it was 8 better than the last time I went out. I used to play at least twice a week (2 years ago) and was actually down to a 12 handicap.

What's the bowling deal at homestead? I knew they used to have some thursday night thing, PA bowl used to be cheap on Sun Morns, but that's up to $2 a game. I gotta go with teh bowling more since my physical therapist will know if I've been swinging clubs.
