Default final drive gear install in bay area?

Anyone installed their own? how long did it take you? Would you help someone out?
Who went to a shop? Which shop? where they at? how much? good service?

i'm getting my new cusco lsd plates for overhaul and want to change out the final drive while i'm at. So any help would be appreciated.

hey i wanna know too. You know if nobody's willing to do it in the bay. You can call up comptech and go up there. They told me yesterday they're willing to do it. Definately great guys too and the facility is awesome.

I can reccomend you guys my installer. Let him know I pointed you to his direction, he's a great guy and specializes mainly on diffs. Install went perfect and I paid less than 300.

Heres the address:

Williams Equipment Co.

Salinas, CA 93906

Phone: (831) 424-3717

Good luck,

^ man that sounds like a great price. hey swtazn 97 what gears do you have? And did you have this installed after your blower? If so how would you say it compares to the blower w/stock gears? Would you say it's worth the money?

I'd have to say if price wasn't an issue definately take it to comptech. I was there yesterday for 8hrs Got my supercharger running great! Man does it pull like never before.

I have the 4.57 gears. I installed my s/c'er before the gear swap. The gears helps pickup the pace downlow until the s/c'er takes over. It's great. I still get about the same mi/gal so the gears didn't hurt really bad.
