Default Few pics from Thunderhill

It was a great HPDE weekend at Thunderhill with a nice weather no rain like Infineon last month. Only took a few shots of the cars out there though and was too busy checking out the Fit. I think speeeding and VoodooS2k was there as well. There used to be more S2K's out there but have not seen them around T-hill or Infineon whatever happened to the track whores?

Sorry about the late pic speeeding, I was admiring the Mugen CF HT

Fit making its test and run getting ready for 25hour Enduro race next month!

Voodoo or speeeding or other S2K's that ran at Thunderhill - Curious as to what lap times are you guys getting as my best was 2min 24sec. Am I even close to your numbers?

Thanks for the pic. It was great running with only around 12 cars on the track. Made for a lot of open road.

I'm running 2m 19sec lap times with some room for improvement. I need to improve turn 2 - turn 5. I believe Speeeding is running around 2m 13sec.

Nice car. I remember running with you in the first session of the day. I was driving the white AE86 with the CF hood.

It really was a great day at the track! Perfect weather, and a nice turnout overall.

Hey track pros, what kind of tires are you running? What would you recommend for the stock pre04 wheels for someone thats doesnt have a spare set?

Are you looking for a tire that will work for both the street and track or just the track?

The stock S02's work great for both if you need a tire for dual duty. If you want something a little less expensive, I find the Kuhmo MX's work fairly well.

For track only, the Toyo RA-1's shaved are a popular choice.

Hey Voodoo,

Yeah I was thinking about the Kumho MX, but was just a little concerned about how its not as wide as the stock S02. I got my S used and it still has some real cheapo Kumho 711s... Man, its given me a scare a few times and actually handles worse than my old car...

I really wish they made more sizes for 16" wheels, or that I had a 17" set...
