Default Fender flare install

Hello! I have a set of shine over fenders that I want to have installed. Seems like a fairly easy DIY but I would prefer to have someone experienced help me out with this. Any one in the east bay have experience doing this? Would love to avoid paying a shop big bucks to do something that seems fairly easy. Thanks!

If u think Febder flares are simple to install I'd say good luck... As simple as it may seem to just slap them on with double sided tape or drill them in you would need to hack up your qtr panel for the extra wheel clearance, then possibly fill up the panel to make sure it's water sealed tight... If u just install them without cutting the quarter panel.. It'll be as useless as those Kragen autozone fender vents.. Good luck and just get it done professionally..

Definitely aware of what it takes to install them properly. If all I was planning on doing was slapping them on with dbl sided tape I don't think I'd really need to ask for help. If people have had them installed Id love a shop recommendation. I'm new to the Bay Area so would appreciate all the help I can get!

Cutting the seam weld and rewelding is what's required to do it properly, assuming you want/need the additional clearance. I took mine to Blacktrax for doing the work.

Yep, definitely want it done right. I've been in contact with blacktrax as well. Pricey but I know they will do it right. Getting them painted and then will take the car there.

I like the look but as permanent as it is it killed any hopes or aspirations I ever had to do it. Why not just throw it in a body shop to your liking and have them do it. Not only will it get done properly but if they are unpainted then it would only make sense to get sort of a package deal on the whole thing.
