Simple Green is a nono.gif . It is way too caustic to put anywhere near a car. It will etch finishes and metals, including wheels.


also do not use them on your wheels

I donot recommend you start spraying water all over your engine bay area. Very easy to cause electrial shorts, that will be costly. I seem you engine compartment...I donot think it's needed.

i have a pressure washer and i have the engine cleaning stuff to use with the pressure washer ... i already cleaned my engine bay up but i'd be more than happy to come out and lend my pressure washer (not gas) for everyone to use.

It is very safe to spray your engine down. Water gets in your engine all the time, especially those with vented hoods. If you are really paranoid, you can cover the alternator. Only thing that might be a problem is if you have an intake, so just cover it with a bag or aluminum foil.
