Yeah you should give them a go and see how they work out compared to the Star Spec. I didn't realize how large the price difference was between the two, definitely worth a shot. Looks like people really like them for track use so should be interesting to see how they work out on the street. Really interested in seeing how long the last compared to the star spec.

RS3's seem to be a good weekend/track tire but I wouldn't use it to DD on.. I was even hesitant to get Starspecs because I didn't wanna wear the tire down too fast but honestly it holds up well on the street, in both rain/cold weather where the RS3 lacks. I'll probably end up with RS3's next after my tires wear down. By that time the kid will be born and S will no longer be my DD but rather the weekend warrior.
I'd give the federals a try but I guess they're not on the market anymore.

I've done two track days, 5 autocrosses, and daily driven my star specs for over 6k miles. They're holding up great so far. I even took them on a trail (dirt) today and they held up great. Awesome tires imho.

OMG, they have to be 50% done or more. I effin love them!
I've really cut back the intensity (not necessarily the amount) of mountain drives. After I broke my axle, the cost to repair meant my bank account was broke as well!
Would love to see a video of a dirt trail drive in an s2000!!!

Apparently these are avaible, and www.onlinetires.com has them in stock.
Is there any good reason I shouldn't order them ASAP?
