actually OEM parts are usually lighter than any after market fiberglass reinforced part. S2000's body parts are made out of aluminum and is fairly light to begin with. And the plastic material our bumpers, and lip are made of is lighter than fiberglass. The only way to get it any lighter is if you us DRY Carbon (which your lip is not)or Renolds Tin Fold. So you may think your lip is lighter than stock because it's made out of "CF", but it weighs about the same if not more. It a placebo effect. I thought this when i got my CF hood, but I was in denial so I just used some steroids and got buff so the CF hood would feel lighter the second time I picked it up.

compare with your hood? hood and lip are totally two different things! man you just all talk!
