If you modify anything, doesn't that void warranty? then if something goes wrong, you have to take your aftermarket and put back the stock part. One or two little things wont hurt, but what if you have a fully built engine, that will void warranty.

I have just gone down this path myself. I was getting even worse quotes from Bay area dealers so looked online here at s2ki a little. There was a group warranty buy last year that the dealer is still honering.

Dealer: Balise Honda, Mass.
Contact: Jeff - hffej@charter.net

What: "Honda Care" - 7yr/75k mi/$0 deductable

Cost: $795.00

They also had the other options at the respective prices based on the above.

Hope this helps. Good-luck.

hey s2khardtop, I might be interested, but I need to know if this is an extension of the factory warranty, meaning, it only adds on an additional 2 years, or if it is a completely new 5 years, as in, if I buy it today, I get 5 years of coverage starting from today.

Also, any deductibles?

this warranty will expire once your car is 5 years old or 100K miles old...i think thats how most factory warranties work....but you can chose any warranty that suits your needs....whether its a 5yr/100K or 7yr/100K...as long as honda offers it...you can buy it through them.....i was quoted 1600 for this warranty that they are giving to me for 880...so its not a bad price at all....

ok, so when is the last day to get in on this? and how does one "get-in" on it?

Also, you mentioned we need to be a member of s2ki.com? What proof do we need to show? Because I'm not a member yet.

I think it is time to decide on which one... 7/100 or 5/100.

thanks to everyone I'll have some choices.
