I use the Hankook R-S2 as my street tire and I'm fairly happy with them. Sidewall is a little soft, so initial turn-in is not as crisp as say the S02's, but I would say dry performance is close. I feel they are the best performing tire in their price range. Better than the Fuzion's or the Kuhmo MX's. Wet performance is good when new, but suffers greatly as the tread wears down because of the blocky tread design.

If you want a cheap high performance tire for use at the track, look into the Hankook RS-2, Falken RT-615, and Kumho MX. Those tires will have significantly more performance than the Fuzions. The Fuzions seem to be meant more of a compromise between wear and comfort and performance, like the Bridgestone RE-750.

My mind boggles at going through three sets of any street tire in one year. How many miles is that? Or perhaps, how many drift events...?

Mostly street driving, with occasional mountain driving. Average 2k miles a month.

I've had the Fuzions on my street driven '02 for a while. They're passable as budget commuter tires but pretty crapalicious performance-wise IMO. I'll be going back to the S02's next time around.

ive actually been wanting the falken rt615s... though i can't find them in wider widths for ap1 oem rims. im pretty sure the rt615s do not have 245s for 16...

im planning to run
fronts: 205/55/16 or 225/50/16
rears: 245/45/16

i could only find these specs in hankook rs2s and the fuzion zris...

fuzions suck monkey nuts. Not grippy at all.

Like someone stated go with the Falken RT615's. Pay a little more for these but I think these are the best bang for the buck.

Fuzions' do seem to last a lot longer though.
