Default experience with fuzion tires?

been looking for a good set of oem spec tires, and ive read positive feedback about fuzion zri tires, so wondering if any local bay area members got them on their s?

i know theyre by bridgestone, and most s2k members use the so2/so3 tires, so maybe anyone with experience can throw in a few comments?

They are a lower performance grade than the original equipment tires on the S2000.

you mean, the tire rating, or performance of the tire?

im actually wondering how well the fuzions work on the track and streets. the tread seems like it would work well in rain. i mean, considering the amazingly cheap price of the tires, i dont expect amazing quality.

does anyone have any exp with Hankook Ventus Rs2 Z212? they look pretty decent too.

I've been running on these since last year. They have GREAT grip in the rain.. one of the best I've ever had. But on dry roads, they tend to take a while to warm up. They are supposed to last for a while, I've heard, but I'm on my third set within 12 months. I definitely recommend them to friends.

the fuzions were garbage? or are you referring to hankooks?

did you get to track the fuzions? im debating whether or not to get them. would you receommend the Hankook Ventus Rs2 Z212 over these? i can't seem to find many oem spec tires for the s2k. i don't realy want to run so2s for the track..

why do you want to cheap out on tires so badly? tires are the absolute #1 difference in handling capability for our cars..or any car for that matter.

i'm actually just curious as to how well they perform. i'm planning to track the car soon, and want to get an idea of what tires are good to use on both track and street as well as affordability
