Default Exhaust Shop in East Bay?

I was wondering if anyone knows of a good exhaust shop in the Walnut Creek\San Ramon area? Probably just going to have my resonator removed but I want to make sure they do a good job on it. I also heard there is a mandrel bender in the Danville area but couldn't find the listing.

Not to hijack the thread, but i was wondering the same thing~!
Any good exhaust shop in Pleasanton/dublin/livermore area? I want to have the resonator removed, and would rather have it done by someone experienced.

Thanks

Too bad you guys are not down South of east bay. I would recommend my buddy Gabe, his shop is called Precision Muffler. Its located in Milpitas. He's been doing lots of exhaust work for all my cars, and the price is pretty good. His welds and accuracy has always pleased me. I'll get you guys the number if anyone is interested!

I need some exhaust work done as well. You guys interested in getting a group thing going at the Precision Muffler place in Milpitas?

Maybe S2K 408 can hook us up with some good pricing.

i'm interested in hearing the resonator-less S2000's...perhaps my 100% stock MY04 can be used for comparison

I'll contact my buddy tomorrow, and see if I can us a group price for some exhaust work. As for all this talk about removing the resonator, what is the advantage of it? Do we gain anything out of this? Thanks guys!

0 hp gains, but I think it shaves up to 10lbs off

Basically it will give the exhaust a little deeper tone and it will be a little louder. There are a bunch of threads in S2K Talk about it and a sound clip. It's cheap and reversible so I thought I might as well give it a shot since any of the droning aftermarket exhausts are out for me.

Hmm. . . So basically making your stock exhaust sound deeper. I like it! Will we still be able to pass smog? Thanks!
