Blew a plug and all but three threads (plug 2) out of my head during a race at Buttonwillow this weekend. I need to have someone pull the head and inspect for more damage. I've got one recommendation for a local shop, but they specialize in Preludes--anyone have any recommendations for reputable engine builder around SJ w/experience working on the F20C?

 

Sorry to hear that. Same thing happened to my head. I pulled my own head off, so I don't have a recommendation for the work, though Morgan Machine in Walnut Creek does good machining.
