Default Engine Light Codes

Hey guys new to the forum Im having a few problems with my 02 s2k its throwing the code for P0335 Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction and was wondering if anyone else have had this problem. I checked the ckp its within specs, tested the wires going to the ecu its getting power so last thing that alldata said to do was replace the ecu just did that at honda and its still throwing the same code. Any help or suggestions would be really helpful thanks.

You changed the ECU That's the last thing I would've done.

How did you checkout the CPS? Did you look at it's waveform on a scope? Doing resistance & power checks won't tell you if its broken.

i had that code, i replaced both sensors and it fixed it. sensors or cheaper then an ecu. i think they were about $65 new. If you still have issues, you might want to pull your valve cover off and check for anything bent/cracked.

I Disconnected the CKP sensor 3P connector, and measure resistance between CKP sensor 3P connector terminals No.1 ground and No. 2.signal wires and ohms were around 2,200 which is good, I think it should be in between 1,850 to 2,450 ohms. Then I Checked for continuity between CKP sensor 3P connector terminal No.1 and body ground and terminal No.2 and body ground individually and nothing no continuity. So then I disconnected the ECM connector c which has the wirs that goes to the CKP and measured the resistance between the ECM connector terminals for ohms which were about 2,000 which is still good. And then I checked for continuity between ECM and ground which gave me nothing so then I replaced the ECM and its still the same. These steps I followed were from All Data.

i believe with that engine code you can't even get past 3K RPM right?
