man...i always wanted to work at an auto shop like Gruppe-S and just work on cars and be around them. maybe i'll do it for fun when i'm old, wrinkly and retired

sound like it would be a fun job, but i think your not giving enough $$$ for the experience your asking for our receptionist makes more than that.

i don't know any parts shop entry sales making anymore than that. some even work for free parts and no salary.

I agree with you on most of that point, but most speed shops pay around that scale. I used to work on the side at the old Streetwize back in the day, partly for free parts and to help out friends who owned the place.

And that's pretty much the pay scale at shops like this.

I didn't even see the PDF ad they had. Didn't even click on the link to tell the truth. That is a lot to ask for!!

When I worked at the shop it was mostly college students working there, 19-24 range. Mostly to get discounts on part than the pay. And to be around the "scene" at the time.
