An emotional moment for me

[QUOTE=thejohnremus,Sep 10 2007, 09:25 AM] veryyyy long story short...
yes, that's one way to put it.
I usually describe her as the one I could never have...
It was harder watching someone you were really in love with get married, you know?
But over the years I've distanced myself more and more.. in part to save my own feelings

I totally understand (limited based on information) your situation but you held your head up high, did your job and now you reflect, heal, and continue to live.
I'm new here btw, lol

bump for more images
I dropped these off with the families yesterday. All it all there was about 10 hours of editing 300 RAW images. But there are some really gorgeous - and I know a number of them will end up on the wall.
When I hand a print to the brides father and he nearly starts crying just by looking at it, I take that as a HUGE compliment to my work.
As difficult as this ceremony was for me, and as hard as sitting at my computer toning, balancing, touching up and cropping was... it was worth it.
And I saw the "official" wedding photographers images. Unfortunately for the two families they were under exposed, back focused, and nearly 80% were crooked... I felt so bad for them.
But, as their aunt pointed out... you get what you pay for :/
