Default An emotional moment for me

I just thought I'd share with my family here,
a photo that represents one of the more emotional moments I've had to deal with at a personal level in a very long time..

at least I'm still a good photographer.. ha.....

//

thought I'd share one more...

and another:

a couple new ones (9/17)

one of my new favorites

I'm done editing all 300 images. If you guys would like to see more I can keep adding. Otherwise I'm really not sure how many I'll post. Let me know

Not exactly, but maybe sorta?

We have a very long history together (spanning like 9 years). So watching her get married was much more difficult than I thought it would be.

Photographically though I did a great job with almost all my images

Thanks guys, I just heard her parents really liked the few sample images I sent them.

As much as I'm looking forward to editing down and really looking at the rest, I'm dreading it.. you know?

And Jeff, this particular one was set at 1/60, 2.8, 400, awb (since it's mixed lighting.. strobe and tungsten mix), with a strobe, bounced... it night conditions it's easier for me to go fully manual and keep complete control. I can show you some time or something.
This one has no retouching/photoshop at all...

veryyyy long story short...
yes, that's one way to put it.

I usually describe her as the one I could never have...

It was harder watching someone you were really in love with get married, you know?
But over the years I've distanced myself more and more.. in part to save my own feelings
haa.... :/
