Eklipz98's s2000 Blue Tape Sharpie Art [ V7.0 ]
9/12/2012
Nearly a year later, another project, inspired by "yours truly" came onto the market. This time, a fellow s2ki member from Oregon, inspired by this thread and associated youtube videos created a project for an s2ki oregon group drive.
Quote from Adam about this project:
10-15-2011
In honor of the Bay Area s2ki Skaags group drive, we set out on another blue-tape sharpie art project. This time, the subject of Drisana's art is 'Litte Sister', the character from the Bioshock series. This time, I went for a more extensive blue tape covering to protect the entire front bumper from the sticky tires of the group drive leader (you know who you are ).
Enjoy the pics and vids below!
NOTE:
- Eklipz98 is responsible for the prep work (i.e., wash/wax and taping).
- DrisanaRM was responsible for the sharpie art, in the past, but no longer.
- Projects always prefaced by a full wash/wax and/or claybar carnuba waxing.
- Projects leave zero residue when removed after ~5 days.

Here's the pic of the drawing. It's obviously not as good as yours but my friend had a lot of fun drawing it. It's a dragon with my name Adam being carried by the dragons legs. The color of my name are in Palestinian colors because that's where my family is from. I thought the tape job was pretty good after I finished it all the way through half of the drive.

At the special request of Jeremy, we've been meaning to go a project that covered his little ding on the driver's side fender. The BBQ he hosted was the perfect occasion. Under the pressure of many eyes, we set out for a wash/wax/claybar/tape/art project! The result was wonderful. Jeremey requested the DBZ character Trunks in Level 2.
8/3/2011---Today marked the fourth iteration of our blue tape sharpie art saga. The day started off bland when I was pulled over for a cell phone ticket while on the way to Office Depot to pick up some fresh sharpies for the day's project. Drisana then got frustrated during the couple attempts of pencil sketching Catwoman. After three different poses, her magic rub erasing technique grew violent and a break was necessary before my hood's clear coat would soon be erased. We took an hour break, played NFS: Hot Pursuit, then got back into the proper rhythm. The end result was one of our best yet, Black Cat. Timelapse video on page 3 until I can figure out how to insert it here...

- We're aiming to do a couple of these projects on my car per month.
