The assholes slit my top and stole my seats and rails. They did some damage to the interior and even dented the driver side door. Has this happened to any of you? What will happen with insurance?

Oh no way .. that sucks. It has never happened to me but ive heard abt it. One of my friend's Mustang was broken in to and they stole the audio, seats, steering wheel and bunch of other stuff. Insurance covered everything, including the top. All he paid was his deductible. Now the question is, which insurance do you have ?

i heard that if your seats get stolen...your car is considered totalled?

was it stock seats or aftermarket?

It happened at Bay Fair BART station. I did some research and I heard the seats alone are around $7k - $9k. I am concerned they may total it.

There is a possibility they may total it... If your vehicle is an ap1 your chances are higher, now if u have an ap2 they may pay you out. A year or two bac I had a friend who had the same claim as you. His insurance paid him $9000 check for the repair and he kept his car still clean title. There was a dispute because his insurance wanted to pay out $5000 instead of the full retail cost. His insurance wanted to pay for the market value of used seats instead of new. With a little aggression and explaining you can get top dollar for what your vehicle is worth. Good luck but sorry to hear your loss.
