Dry Clean
hey guys so i have a Berlina Black S and i was wondering what is the best way/product to use to dry my car, i currently use a generic shamy. i also notice when i dry it i still have like dry water marks, and some of them im thinking is from like bird poop. i wash the poop as soon as i see them so they dont sit on the paint but is there any suggestions to get rid of them and a good technique to dry my car or is shamy the way to go?

Don't use chamois. One speck of dirt on it, and it's going to eff up you paint royally. Look into a good soap (I use Chemical Guys' Citrus Wash and Clear(or Gloss) ) Get directly from CG (about $10-15 for a gallon which will last over a year). Then look into a good QD available at DetailersDomain (Optimum QD or Gloss-It QD) for the pesky bird poop. Then look into a really good waffle-weave microfiber drying towel (DetailersDomain).
So when you wash your car, and while drying it, you'll be able to get the whole car dry without ringing it out once. But the trick is to "dry it with the hose". If your car is properly washed, you can take the nozzle of (I put it on the "soaker" setting) and then just let the water sheet off the roof (since I see your have a HT) and then down the windows, hood, etc etc. If it's properly waxed, there should only be like bubbles of water left over. Just dry them off with your nice WW microfiber.
Any more questions feel free to ask!
