Driving/racing school in SF Bay Area?

I want to learn to get the most out of my S2K. However, I don't want to thrash my "baby" either.
Any recoomendations for classes in the Bay Area? Should I drive my car, or take a course with a car provided? Which one? What price? Thanks.

Malachi, I think I saw you today turning onto Gough heading toward Market, Valerie in the car with you I believe.
Tried to catch up but me and some friends were off to Speedring and cut over to Van Ness. Anyways, car's lookin' hot!

wish i'd seen you!
we were on our way back from marin (nice day for a drive - grin).
car's a bit dirty (of course) but that's life with a yellow one.
btw - if you didn't seem my post in Car Talk y'all should SERIOUSLY consider a trip to Yosemite once the season ends. the road from Wawona to the valley is SICK.
