Hollister is an hour south of San Jose. However, the Ranch is another 3 hours south in Coalinga.

The steaks go from $15 up. . . depends on which restaraunt you go into. In my first post is the link for the Kitchen menu (which I thought was the right price point for most folks for a lunch). They do have an upscale steakhouse as well. . .

Ok guys,.. I don't want to hi-jack this thread so trying to answer all the questions, and a little input for Harris Ranch.

That meet was in 2003 but I had a few before that one possibly one in 2001.

Yes thats my house.
Picture was taken from a V-tail Bonanza,... seen in the backgroud of my first "ricer"

The drive to Harris ranch might seem long but you will be preoccupied with all the twisties so the time will fly by.

The food at Harris ranch comes from the same kitchen(sits inbetween the two resteraunts),.. I've eaten at both and only difference I found is the setting and the price$$$ food quality is always the same. I prefer the kitchen more laid back (cheaper) and better for larger groups.

If you guys want to pitstop at my house in Hollister that woudl be fine,.. I will pm the event organizer with directions (house is on the way to 25). We can do a BBQ in the spring,.. the yard is in shambles right now and the koi are all asleep (too cold).

D

Yeah - I looked over the website and realized the meat is coming from the adjacent 110,000 head ranch on the other side of the fence. . . so I thought we'd go to the mid-scale place, and the folks who want steak can get a steak, and if someone wants fish, chicken, or a club sandwich and fries, they can get that too.

However, if the wait is shorter for the steakhouse, then it; we're going in.
