Update: State Farm is pulling the car over to their preferred yard (don't remember the name of it) to do the investigation. Once the car is done with that, I'll let you all know what the buyback price is. They said typically they will sell the car back to the parts yard, but I will ask to see if the car can be made available for 'purchase.' Or, at the very least, when and where you guys can go get the parts.

Maybe HAP Recycling in Sac. They are like the only people I know in Norcal that have any S2000 parts.

State Farm are apparently not idiots: THEY want the car. They've already cut me the check and made sure that the car is on it's way to CoPart (Salvage/Auctioners).

If any of you have salvage-licensed buddies - keep on the lookout for it in the next month or two.

I've got my new car choices down to the Vibe/Matrix or an Element - need a test drive of each.
