Avoid Kathy's Cleaners/Alterations in Milpitas Square (the 99 Ranch plaza). One of my pants was ruined and they refused to reimburse me or even refund the amount of the alteration

Nordstrom I think charges $22 for alterations!
PRICEY.
There's a spot that one of my co worker goes to to get her denim altered down by Oakridge and they charge I think $12 for original hem.
My lady charges $7 for original hem and $5 for just a straight hem. Only prob is, she only speaks Viet

My folks own a couple of cleaners in the Cupertino Saratoga Area. We charge $10 for just a straight hem up. Been in the business for 10+ years. PM for me info. (shameless family plug) =)
