Avoid Kathy's Cleaners/Alterations in Milpitas Square (the 99 Ranch plaza). One of my pants was ruined and they refused to reimburse me or even refund the amount of the alteration

go to macy's valleyfair! lol... they alter pants for a price... of course its legit if they ruin it theyll reimburse you... we have good tailors around which been in business for so long.. they have expertise and experience.. (just go to suit department and ask if they could do alterations for pants that was not our merchandise )

Nordstrom I think charges $22 for alterations!

PRICEY.

There's a spot that one of my co worker goes to to get her denim altered down by Oakridge and they charge I think $12 for original hem.

My lady charges $7 for original hem and $5 for just a straight hem. Only prob is, she only speaks Viet

My folks own a couple of cleaners in the Cupertino Saratoga Area. We charge $10 for just a straight hem up. Been in the business for 10+ years. PM for me info. (shameless family plug) =)
