I paid $240 in September. Just got in under the line. Gal friend bought her Accord in November. $550 and change. For all of us that slipped in under the wire, next year is on it's way.

Thank you Mr Gray-out Davis and Mr Black-out Bustamonte. If Bustamonte wins, I'm outa here. Selling my house and leaving. This will not be just a nail in the coffin, it will be one side bolted and welded shut. The democratic plundering won't stop there. There is talk of a county income tax up to 10%. We will pay Fed, state and county income tax! For those of you that aren't home owners, this is not a property tax that you don't have to worry about. It's a 10% tax on you income for the privelage of working in this "broke ass state." This state isn't broke. #5 largest economy in the world!
Yes the world! Someone is ripping us off. We aren't broke. That's what happens when you let socialist manage your checkbook. And the schools and roads still suck! Where the hell is the money. Show me the money! Who's wearing Armani suits? Mr. Black-out Bustamonte sure looks daper these days. A member of MECHA. He will not represent all Californians. Licenses for illegals? Why the hell not. Give one to the terrorist while your at it. I wonder if they will have to pay the new fees. Maybe that's all they really want. Mo money!

PUT A STOP TO THIS! VOTE REPUBLICAN! VOTE MCCLINTOCK!
Mcclintock for Governator. We can't keep spending money we don't have. Money isn't the issue. There's plenty of money. Where is it going? It's a managment issue. Vote your conscience and vote Mcclintock on Tuesday.
Not paid for by the Mcclintock for Govenor campaign.
Just a concerned tax payer.

Not me. I'm voting for Arnold. Lower registration (not depending on your car, but a flat fee), less smog restrictions (I can finally smog my car!!). Vote for Arnold, he dont need the $$ himself!!

wow, never seen so many political comments in one place...and all because the state is broke due to bad fiscal planning and politicking that allowed Californians to get a few years of tax and registration savings. I am glad they made it a rebate and not an actual new law b/c otherwise, we'd get no funding for the roads which would then get even worstm whic woudl lead me to have to buy new suspension parts all the time; and less money for schools, whcih would lead to less time in classes for kids which means those punk ass kids will be out on the streeet more vandalizing my car. But then again, spending the money that shoudl have gone to those causes on a recall election that could easily have been held in November during a normal election ? that has got to take the cake, what stupid ass polititian thought that crap up?

Despite all this embarassment for what this formerly great state has doen, I am still a Californian and will vote and do my best to make this a better place to live for all of us. But Arnold??? uhh.boy....that's a whole other matter.

The money is there. It's being mismanaged by crooks and special interests. It is our duty to get them out now and send a clear message to the legislature because they are next. I don't know about you but I pay enough already.
When I was in school, there was one teacher per class room and we learned. Half the day wasn't spent on crap. We learned the essentials and then moved on a grade if we were ready. Yes there was a fear of flunking. Nobody flunks now and there is a teacher and at least one aid in the classroom. Some classes have two and the kids are still dumb as a box of rocks. Can't spell, can't write, can't speak English or Spanish, can't read or write either, can't balance a checkbook, 50% drop out Etc Etc. Folks! Our state is being dumbed down so that the slow and ignorant kids don't look bad. I know this because my kids went to a "Magnet" school where they spent most of the day counting beans and learning patriotic songs about a foreign country. They learned some Spanglish and knew all about foreign holidays and celebrations. We were teaching them reading and writing at home. They went to school and were too far ahead of the class so they inscripted my kids to help the slower kids. My kids didn't get anything out of the deal. So there was the teacher, two aides and the kids that were being taught at home to run these classes. What does the teacher do? Babysit? I pulled my kids out and sent them to a better school. You have to take action! If this isn't waste, I don't know what is. I thank God that my kids are out of this system now but many of yours are going in. Don't you want a better future for your children and Californians in general? If you do, you have to turn this around. What is being done isn't working. Put a stop to it now! Get involved. Inform yourselves. Empower yourselves. Enfranchise yourselves or be quiet and don't complain. If you don't get involved, you are part of the problem. S2000 owners are obviously of a higher intellect. Tell your friends and family to get out there and vote. This waste and mismanagement has to stop.
