Bayarea408 has a point. Some other points above too:
- what is the date?
- what is the route?
- who scouts out?
- who is historian? (goes ahead to do photos?)
These answers will dicate positive replies.

It is set on Feb 23rd
Route is still in the process of construction. But the points we are going to stop are decided. The starting point and the ending point are both undecided as of now.
In previous post, BigRedDog said he and RedS2Girl will scout this weekend. Maybe I will join them too.

Ok. Here is a sample route if we start with Marina Green Park and we try to hit every point we want to pass. It seems to be quite intimidating though...
(*) - stop and regroup and take pictures
0. Start at Marina Green Park
1. Go south and turn right at Marina Blvd
2. Turn left at Palace Dr and stop at Palace of Fine Arts (*)
3. Turn left at Baker St
4. Turn right at Marina Blvd
5. Turn right at Davisadero St
6. Turn left at Lombard St and stop at the crooked part (*)
7. Turn right at Stockton St
8. Turn right at Broadway St, pass the Boardway Tunnel
9. Turn left at Van Ness Ave
10. Turn left at Bush St
11. Turn left at Grant Ave, pass Chinatown Gate
12. Turn right at California St
13. Turn right at Stockton St
14. Stockton St becomes 4th St, turn left at Berry St
15. Berry St becomes Embarcadero St becomes Jefferson St, stop at a certain Pier (*)
16. Turn left at Hyde St
17. Turn right at Market St
18. Turn left to 17th St
19. Turn left to Clarendon Ave
20. Twin Peaks Blvd
21. Stop on the Twin Peaks (*), get back to Clarendon Ave and make a left
22. Turn left at Laguna Honda Blvd
23. Lagnuna Honda Blvd becomes Dewey Blvd becomes Tavaral St, turn right at 19th Ave
24. 19th Ave becomes Park Predidio Blvd becomes GG bridge
25. Exit Golden Gate Vista Pt (*)
26. Get back to 101, exit to Sausalito Lateral Rd
27. Turn left at Bunker Rd, pass Fort Baker Fort Barry Tunnel
28. Stay straight to Field Rd
29. Turn left to Conzelman Rd
30. Turn left to Sausalito Lateral Rd
31. Back to 101 if we do coastal drive, continue through Sausalito Lateral Rd will lead us to Sausalito
Please let me know if part of this route is not feasible (e.g. wrong way). Or if you find a better route that can let us hit the points we decided.
This route is not final. It is just a reference. It will be very different if we take a different start point. If you can give me a starting point with exact address, I can try to construct an alternative route.

this doesn't sound fun anymore.... 
i know we'll be splitting into smaller groups, but it's still too hard to stay together after hitting so many traffic lights.
can we maybe eliminate one or two spots on the list?
