From the DMV site:

Placard abuse can result in the cancellation and revocation of the placard and loss of the privileges it provides and is punishable by a minimum fine of $250 up to $3,500 or imprisonment up to 6 months or both.

Boom, 6 months as Bubba's boyfriend ought to do the trick
Did you report it yet? If not I'll do it tomorrow...

Don't know if you guys heard of this or remember... but a while back.. maybe 8-10 years or so ago, there was a huge crack down on UCLA athletes who had handicap placards. Apparently UCLA students had enough pull so they could get the placards through some BS and their doctors and used it to park anywhere they wanted(almost).

I've seen the same thing at UCB too...

How about one-upping all them and finding a legit way to get consul plates? then you'd really be untouchable!!!!

Haha yup I remember that, I was going to school there at the time. It was hilarious because the athletes (whom everyone recognized) would park in the on-campus handicapped stalls and then walk over to the gym. Honestly, though, I think this type of thing happens a lot (not that that justifies it). There are lots of people who use their family members' handicapped placards.

DongTran, no I haven't had a chance to report it yet.

I also recall the UCLA incident. I think that made the TV news back in the day.

Don't get mad guys, just go to your doctors and ask them to sign a release form so you can get a disable placard and park at that very same spot so the can't park there.LOL
