Has anyone figured out how to disable this safety mechanism without causing the brake light to come on? Last night I removed the wire from the button underneath the ebrake, and grounded it to the chassis; only to realize my own stupidity. I can put the top up/down at 5 MPH but I have a big bright brake light staring at me the entire rest of the time. Is there something I can do on the actual switch, or some other trick to achieve this? Not that this is particularly useful feature while it is pouring out, but as a result, I have more garage time to play around.
