I see the problem as two fold
1. He is cheating off you
2. You can be blamed for helping him
If you deal with him directly he could get you sucked into a web of cheating. If you got to the proff you run the risk of getting in trouble.
However, I'd be inclined to raise it at the next test time with your proff. Not that he was copying off you but that you've witnessed him copying off others. Explain that you don't copy and wish to ensure that he is not seated next to you.

it would be funny if he got a higher score than you.
I would just leave it alone and not say anything. He will probably figure you aren't worth copying off of next time.
