Let's face the reality, that in this day and age, performance enhancing drugs in sports is a fact of life.
Whether or not Bond's used drugs and if it was even illegal at the time is debateable, but those drugs sure didn't help him have the great eye for the ball that he has.

I think the ball she be left as is. As Voodoo stated, i dont agree with Barry taking steroids but he was/is a great baseball player and i support him. Go Barry!!!

i mean why would you spend like $200,000 on a baseball to let the public decide where this ball "deserves" to go? why not spend $200,000 on a good cause.. what he's doing isnt proving any point except that he's rich? but big deal

While I agree that Barry is a great player without steriod, the fact that he most likely used it still greatly takes away how meanful this record is.
And Marc Ecko is doing this to increase brand awareness and hes getting TONS of PR, so he's not doing this because he is rich, he is doing it so he can become richer.
I voted to brand it just because I think that asterisk looks pretty funny.
