so last month i got a speeding ticket and the notice just came in the mail today for 218-- i was 10 mph over. funny thing is that two years ago i got a ticket also for 10 mph over and i remember it to be 270 for the fine..... so i guess its more affordable to go fast nowadays??? o.o i think they just offset it with the fees for traffic schooling though... used to be 24 bucks now its 49... i dunno i just thought i'd share

Definitely not cheaper now. You might have been in an area before that had extra penalities assocated with speeding in that area. Judges doesn't have the same leeway they did before to reduce penalities either.
