Default Did a search on Capital Honda but did not really find what I was looking for.

I have to get my car serviced soon and in order for a dealership to honor the 1 year free oil change deal that I purchased along with the extended warranty, I have to go to Capital Honda or San Leandro Honda.

I searched for threads on Capital but all I could find were threads that said that the salesman were dicks but nothing about the service.

Any body have any horror stories about Capital Honda or is Capital legit?

Don't want them fvcking with my baby.

Thanks,

Bryan

They filled one s2ki members car with 15 quarts of oil when they did a oil change. Other than that I haven't heard much else about their service.

They're ok, just don't let them testdrive your car. I had my hardtop installed at that place and sparkplug TSB done. At the end of the day, my car was pulling to the right.

Bryan,

Most of my oil changes have been done at Capitol Honda and I haven't had any problems. I haven't had any other service done there, so I can't vouch for their overall service, but I give them a plus for oil changes.

Capitol Honda is somewhat unpopular on this board, but there are horror stories for every dealership, and probably every shop out there. The difference isn't where you take it to, but who works on it.

Here are some previous threads that specifically mentioned Capital Honda service:

Good local service for my s2k ?

South Bay dealers for service?

good dealers in Bay Area?

Los Gatos or Menlo Honda for spark plug TSB?

THANK YOU to Chuck and John at Menlo Honda

Can I sue Honda for this?

Dealer charges $125 for 6000 mile maintenance, just one of many complaints to report!

That ought to give you a picture of the service. The trick is you have to search for "Capital" as well as "Capitol". Not all of us can spell

Thanks guys.

Any ways to avoid greasy tech's that want to fvck up my car?

I heard from another thread to "leave a pack of cigarettes and a note that says 'Help Yourselves' " or something of that nature.
