How do you know when it's required to adjust the valves? Any symptom that we feel from the car? I have around 12K, is it time to adjust?

If they are a little loose, you wont feel any difference with your butt dyno, although they may be a little bit louder.

I wouldn't touch them at 12,000 miles.
