I've gotten a quote from PriceLine (Ray Baldwin) for @200 over MSRP in So Cal, and I'm inclined to take the offer. Does anyone have any experience with them?

I bought mine at MSRP from Ray through priceline.com in S. CA back in January. Easiest purchase I ever made - Ray did a great job. $200 over MSRP seems reasonable...others who have bought an S2000 more recently may have more input on what pricing has been lately.

Good luck...

Try San Leandro Honda, I got mine there for MSRP in April. You can get a better deal if you go through the internet sales dept. I dealt with Rob Obyka (sp?). I would give them a try before I made the trek down to So. Cal.

Jas2K,
Is there a reason why you are buying in So. Cal for 200 over when you can buy them here for MSRP?

I got mine through Ray at Priceline in February. I specified list and that was the agreement although the dealer (Direct Auto in El Centro) added the $200. I said "no" and it came right off. I believe that is the $200 that they kick to Priceline. At any rate Ray is First Class and was extremely helpful. At the time there were no S2000's that I could locate on my own or through any of the Internet sources for less than $1500 over MSRP up here. I did rag them at Livermore Honda about laughing at me in the showroom when I said I wanted to pay list, so to apologize they offered me one at MSRP but it wasn't coming until April. jas2k lined up to get that one but kept getting a bit jerked about the delivery date and went to San Leandro, so I am not too sure about Livermore. I have confirmed reports of MSRP at San Leandro so maybe you can find one up here. But if you choose Priceline I assure you Ray Baldwin will take care of the deal.

Check Oakland Honda- and the other threads on buying in the bay area.

If you want to buy it from S. Cal. I got mine from
Nelson Honda at MSRP. You can ask for Mac.

I know Hayward Honda's got a silver/black one sitting there that's been in for at least a couple of weeks. I'd bet they're ready to deal.
