everyone there oustide of management works off commission...and yea like i was trying to explain in my post before you cant hold the dealership responsable the actions of one or even two people. Its there best interest to sell you a product for as much as possible but its not okay and illegal for them to lie.

Back when Dublin Honda was in the old building, Ken was letting a Speed World Challenge COMPETITOR of Taz cohabitate in the race shop. I wouldn't throw the baby out with the bath water.

Any commission based position will have a greedy bastard somewhere in the mix. It is in our nature...

I don't know how they do their service but my guess is that maybe they're given a new upsale list or maybe the gm had a meeting to boost upsales. Either way. The customer can deny the work.

As for mounts being cracked and all, I've seen cars with cracked mounts. Its just weird how they used that excuse frequently with your coworkers. I have not seen motormounts cracked from normal daily driving from a s2000. But I've seen the driverside rear differential mount blown on a few s2000's including mine.

Regardless. Sucks to be them!

I'm sure the mounts were not for an S but just for reference sake here are pics of what a blown S2K mount looks:

that's an extreme case i think. one of my mounts were cracked and the other was split in HALF! but there was nowhere close to that much yellow stuff. maybe just a trickle or so. either way,

My neighbor just got his motor mount replaced as well, not sure what dealer but he has an Acura.
My camry is four years older with at least a hundred thousand more miles and has been airborne many times and no cracked motor mounts.

OP, mounts go all the time. My TL blew a mount and I'm told that accords suffer the same problem. Usually 50-60K on a mount before it needs replacing.

Before you come out, without evidence that these guys are scamers, get your facts straight. You could be sued for damages if you're full of it.
