Dont know if you guys saw the news or not but driver Dan Wheldon died today at the Las Vegas Indy Car event (Honda's I believe) In a fiery crash that sent his car air born. Sad sad time. May he RIP.

watching it on my dvr right now... one of the cars tapped in to sabastian and then the pink car hit it and caused a chain reaction... 15 cars out of 34 cars damaged and out.

More info?? NO it was a brad crash. What is odd is I commented to Wade Cunningham when we did our loop that a crash had taken place in the same turn this morning. No one seemed to pay any mind to the comment which just 20 minutes later took Dan life and hurt many others. Race was cancelled as everyone probably knows now.

People are commenting that the speed of the track was too high. Not sure if this was a factor.

There was. I read one of the many articles online that a lot of the drivers were "complaining" about it before the event started. They were saying the track was only 1.5miles, 34 cars was too much and during practice laps, they were able to get up to about 225mph.

It was a pretty bad crash. I think Dan's car was the one that went flying 200 yards once it was airborne. I watched the clip online and in slow motion it was crazy and even crazier in full speed.

Yes he was and he drove Ana Beatriz around the track
