Default Curious to know which Engine oil is best?

Is anyone curious to know which synthetic engine oil is best?
I am...
recently, i used Mobil 1 (2nd oil change)... 1st time was with Redline oil... i think i felt a difference (Redline felt better)... but i want to know for sure...

since Redline oil claims that their engine oil actually helps increase horsepower, we can pitch in together and do a test of few of the top few synthetic oils.

all the sythetic oils will probably provide adequate wear protection for us (cuz we change the oil so frequently), it'd be nice to know which one actually provides horsepower increase (if any).

say, if we each pitch in $10 for R&D costs, we can probably:
1) buy a few brands of synthetic motor oil
2) buy a few honda oil filters
3) do testing at local dyno shop

what do you think? anyone else curious to know?

Just got back from the car shop where I bought a case (12) of 10-30 Redline.

BTW it was $6.25 a quart! Great buy since list is $8.55 and Honda wants $9 for Mobil1.

Last time I bought oil was from costco for like $24 for 6 quarts of Mobile1. I saw Walmar thas a 5 quart jug for 18.99 or so.

Just switched over at my last oil change(12.5k or so) and noticed a definite difference in sound from the engine... smoother and lower without the high-end noises anymore..... or maybe I'm just going deaf from the vtec-roar

Eneos is what I use. If honda uses it for their F1, it's good enough for me.
