Mac, don't sell yourself short. I think you, Matt, and Edwin, Martin are some of the fastest S2K drivers out there, given same equipments. Norcal has pretty good quality driver, including Dan in the M3.
I think you guys are doing it right too, and grow as a group. I think we should have a show down with the SoCal group near end of the year

Now on a separate note, my friend with his E36 M3 turbo with suspension wheels/tires and aero is in the same class as the FOF group and scores 1 less point that I do. Does that really seem fair? If so, then boy I think we are going to have a tough season keeping up with him lol
What's the spec on the E36 M3 turbo? I'd like to know. That being said, we like to keep the rule simple for now. As we get more competition, we will start to get stricter.

from what I know, the motor is a e36 M3 motor built for a gt35r turbo. driver seat forward should have mostly stock interior. everything behind driver seat is gutted but fitted with a roll bar. it should have suspension and aero (voltex wing).

I would love to get into time attack this year. I've been considering doing this for years, and 2014 might be the year that I take the plunge.
(edit)
I'm also going to be doing the 2/1 event, so I'm sure I'll meet many of you there. I did some solo last year but it's never really been my thing (although I did enjoyed it and understand the many benefits of autocrossing).

This season will be a blast for sure with all the competition.

Regarding oil cooler, I really doubt we actually need it.
My data log shows at the hottest time of the year, I only read about 260 deg. Which is the upper limit I ever want to see the oil temp at.
My K series car with big oil cooler sees 250ish at hot weather. I'm comfortable running the car without oil cooler. Definitely not like the B series where it hits over 300 degree.
Yes, we are working on the rules and is really close to finalizing it. Hopefully by next month as we take a short break from work during Christmas week. Although, my mind is racing all the time, so it might be hard. At least, I will try.
