that was fast, thanks Vu!!

I just did a little more research on the forum. How is Vexmotorsports does anyone knows?

I live in Sunnyvale, so Modacar is kind of far for me. I will go there if nothing else works in the area
Vex is good, but I don't think they do anything "major" like FI installs.

actually we do those too. ive done a handful myself starting with my personal car back in 03. Ive pulled s2k motors tranny's, diff's and everything.
Ive had 6 previous s2000's and with my fair share of s2000 experience

but the guys at modacar have a dyno so thats definitely a plus to see how your cars running right after install

Thanks for the replies guys!!!! It's my 1st FI experience, so I'm very excited

I will pick up my car today, but the kit is missing a pump for the aftercooler, so I will have to go back to modacar to get that installed after the part is avaible.

What time did you go there? I only saw Jeff's s2k there when I was there.

Special thanx to Jeff (J'sBlackAp1)

No prblem Mike, i'm glad i could get you in on such short notice.

Kinda sucks about that damned water pump though. CT told me 2-3 weeks but i'm gonna see if i can source one for you.

But the car will be done today without the pump so it will run like a non aftercooled kit until we can get that pump on there for you.

Give me a call though if you get a chance, otherwise i'll call you once i'm back form lunch.

I just need to know what engine oil you want us to put in there since we have to drain it to do the oil return.

If i'm not here just ask for Casey or Dale.

hey Jeff, have you guys opted to just use any pump meant for any air to water cooled if ct doesn't get back to you soon

http://www.siliconeintakes.com/product_inf...roducts_id=1000

that isnt the best looking but just an example, theres plenty of other companies that make the pump

i know hes anxious to finish his car, just a thought

The odd thing is, CT uses a marine type water pump for boats and stuff, and another thing, is that they use a bracket that makes the pump look factory when placed on the cooler.

We could've opted to go that route but i just wanted Mikes car to look and be 100% CT as i'm sure he did too.

I'll look into it on Monday and if worst comes to worst, i'll most likely just get him a sufficient pump, but THANKS VAN!!!

I appreciate you helping out other vendors with installs, i'll remember that if you guys ever need anything.
