Hi guys,

I am thinking about buying a CTSC from a member in Vegas. He has a 2005 AP2 with 7psi pulley. I guess my question is will the kit work on my 2002 AP1? Do I need to change anything?

7psi pulley for an AP2 is not a 7psi pulley on an AP1. It will probably be a little more then 7psi since the AP1 revs higher. Best to ask in the forced induction forum.

I had the exact same setup on my car. I had the AP2 kit with AC and it ran at 6.5 psi on my AP1. I made 305 whp if I remember correctly and it ran flawlessly with no issues at all, just find a good tuner.

Did you run with the stock comptech FMU? I am not sure if the AP2 FMU works on AP1 or not...

 

Yup stock comptech FMU, completely stock AP2 kit. Check the FI forum, there are quite a few people that run the same setup. It's pretty much a "high boost" kit for the AP1.
