Default Count down to my MY03 STOOK

looks like I found a couple dealers that may take an order for an 03 at MSRP. not going to give info on the dealers until I confirm this. (dont want to send you guys false info if they back out on me).

two choices I must make:

1. do I want to try and save a buck or two by getting an 02 in mid august... or do i just sit it out for the 03s

2. color: white is my color of choice right now. however i'm not a big fan of the tan interior. i like black but sometimes i can be lazy with the car washes... silver is probably the ideal color for a lazy carwasher.. but there are a lot of silvers out there these days.

any dealer recommendations?

Last 2 drives i've been on, i've been the only Sebring Silver (hey, lets keep it that way, go with the white ) haha, just kidding. I really wanted the black too, but after my car got keyed, i'm glad I didn't. Right now, if i had a choice, I would want the white one, but not with the tan so I'd be getting a 02 if you wanted a white. I couldn't wait a week for a black one, can you wait 4 months for a 03? There aren't any major changes for 03 worth waiting for right??? Come on, get an 02 now!

Rich, if I were to get the white, I'd rather get the '02 cuz that '03 tan looks.. hmmm.... u get the idea... anyway, why wait for the '03 when u can get the '02 now?

Rich,

Congrats with the eventual purchase. If I were you, I'd wait till' end of August for an 02'. You should be able to get it for under MSRP. I would also opt for the white as well. As you know...I have a black S...I love the color, but it's a pain to take care of. (I don't even drive it everyday and it's garaged.)

Good luck...

yeah i want one bad... but i'd much rather put a bigger down payment and not have to worry about backbreaking monthly. i could do $0 down, but then i wouldn't have much money to save every month for mods or other expenditures... like food and shelter.

FYI, somebody just bought a new S2K in the Bay Area for $500 under MSRP.

The post is here somewhere...

Good Luck!

Only Bay Area recommendation is go elsewhere. Seriously.....avoid Dublin where they told my friend and I (both well-dressed old farts) no test drive in the Civic Si without first purchasing it. And at Livermore Honda when I arrived in my Volvo with my wife and asked what their pricing was on S2000's the sales guy looked at me and laughed....

I like Walnut Creek for service but they mark up $5000 and two years ago the guy tells me "this is the last model year they are gonna build 'em"
