The frame really doesn't weigh much.

what vu said, the top frame will not change the weight, plus it will only change the front and rear weight distribution if any and not the cross weight.... the most important thing is the cross weight.

yeah half tank is preferred so there is room for you if you want to shift weights depending on what you want on track by emptying or adding gas.

like i said most s2ks without shaving weight, they will be front heavy as most cars. although s2k is close to 50/50 front and rear. my car is 50/50 front and rear but thats without oem exhaust, half tank of gas, braille battery, some other weights shaved off the front.

im curious as to how long the corner weights will last. In other words, do the coilovers begin to change the weight balance over time? Would I have to re-corner balance after half a year or so?

[edit] is it possible to adjust the dampening and/or ride height with you during the corner balance? thanks ken.

The corner weight will last forever if you don't change the weight of your car. The shocks have no effect on how the car sits, unless they are damaged and binding.

When you corner balance a car, you change the ride height of the car to do the actually corner balancing.

so pretty much the drop difference of each wheel may be a little off after the corner balance is done but the weight will be distributed evenly?

i thought if it was going to balance, the drop of wheel wheel would be even throughout.

it is impossible to distribute the weight of the car evenly on 4 tires with driver in it.... the purpose of corner balancing is to make all for tire put the same pressure on the ground to make it stable on turning and doesnt rock from side to side.

here is a good link that explains corner balancing. http://www.nsxprime.com/FAQ/Performa...nerbalance.htm
