Not to go off-topic here but do you really remember my b5 s4? WOw I had that ride when I first moved here since in Chicago you really can't drive these powerful RWD cars sadly....

I loved that car and was actually going to buy it back from the guy but he destroyed it with his careless driving I guess - very sad to see it torn up like that....

sunnyyan: To live in a nice area of SF truly requires some money - 2.7 mil is actually just the tip of the ice berg. I saw some houses near Point Lobo's by the VA Hospital that faces the Golden Gate Bridge to the right and those places are probably at least 5 mil+! Even some of the older homes around Inner Richmond that doesn't look expensive cost 2mil....from what I understand those homes on Lombard Street that royalties because of all the tourists that come and take pictures there plus the postcards, etc. It's not like they need them as I'm sure most of those homeowners near Lombard street are pretty wealthy. I dunno if i want to live there however trying to go home after a long day and having to wait in line with camera toting tourists.

and if you want an apt in downtown in the Financial, or the new high rise right off of 80. Be ready to cough up $4k for a one bedroom, and a family size apt (~4-5000 sq.ft) is going to run you $10k-15k .

(Sometimes I get bored and dream )
