This is just idle gossip... but I think that CT closed because Shad left! Any technical question went to him, all the installs he was requested... seems to me he was the brains.
He installed one of the first CT CAIs on my car at Sac2Kdays in '02. Yes, he did give me the DM-MD discount because I told him I know Dong.

^^^ Just picked mine up from Comptech last Friday... they did a wonderful job. I am thoroughly impressed with how professional they were to me, while also being very friendly and down to earth.

Ryan did the install on my SC... I think he was pretty knowledgeable out it.. and nice... Never had the pleasure of meeting Shad, though (obviously)
Why else would you drive up there?

How's the car runnin? You'll have to take me for a spin at one of the meets.
I can see the clutch going out quite quickly, though, if I keep on pounding on it. XD
I'll gladly take you for a ride, girl... but it won't be this week. I have to get my wisdom teeth out this Friday *sniffle*

lol it might not be for a couple more weeks, guys...
first of all, I can't make this Friday's meet
second of all - I need an alignment and the car is a bit squirrely without it.

Yeah the stock clutch MUST be replaced, not optional as Comptech states.....I think Gary was telling me just replacing his clutch picked up like 15 extra hp since with the stocker you end up spinning the clutch in every gear!
I would recommend the ACT clutch, Toda lightened flywheel and the Krank Vents to go with your charger
