Important note: Don't let the piston fall out when you remove the slave... use plenty of duct-tape to hold it together and tape it to the underbody.

Awww Harry u beat me to the post, HAHAHAAH!
Now I know what that little "catch" feeling is when I fully press the clutch pedal in. It's that nipple coming out of that dimple

Nope that's not what you're feeling, the clutch fork isn't capable of pivoting that far, there's no need to polish or file that piece down. Just lube the clutch fork at the slave cylinder push rod (both ends) and at the bearing on the face of the clutch fork prongs.
