Stevo, my07 is awesome and I've had many 1st to 2nd spins and chirps. My06 was terrible compared to my07, it would slip like crazy from 2nd up and 1st to 2nd shifts would slip slightly. I wonder if I have a later revision of the valve than yours?

I'd like to remove mine so it would lock in faster, but I wouldnt want to risk somthing breaking during or after warrenty. So IMHO i'm not going to do it, honda put it there for a reason, even though it suck when WOT shifts.

But things can change I might do it for a week to see whats the big fuss about lol.

Worn clutch because it slips like a mother = $1000 repair bill.

91,000 miles with countless track days and still on stock clutch.

i did this over a yaear and a half ago at motorsport technique in hayward and have not had any problems. your other option is to get an ap1 slave cylinder swap them out, save your ap2 slave cylinder, if anything happens swap back and claim it on your warranty

My car was brought to the U.S November 2006ish I think ... it was at the end of 06 where my car was brought to the states to sell. Maybe the ones that were built 2006 has this issue? When I redline my car, my RPM basically freezes for a half a second after I shift into the next gear before going down.
