Default Closed Circuit Software... Suggestions?

Hi fellow S2Kers... I have two warehouses which I'd like to monitor activity from my laptop, can someone recommend some software or programs I could buy? Ideally I'd like to install these cc cameras in the warehouse and be able to look in from my laptop or anywhere I go. Thanks in advance!!!

You could install one of those security cameras that have their own web engine built into them. You could then connect to them via IP.

I don't have any personal experience with them, though I was going to buy a few of the pan/tilt/zoom ones for a data center that I ran before the dot com bust. I don't imagine it would be difficult to setup. Just remember that if you want to be able to view them from outside the local network, you need either a way to VPN into the network, setup a NAT through the firewall, or put them out directly on the Internet.

Thanks Vu, so I just hook up one end of a cable to the Axis 211A and the other end to my Linksys router and I'm done? What else am I missing?

try looking at Border Collie solution too for a small install, they are local in Burlingame.... it's linux based. Axis is good too.

If you need something big like 25 or more cams, let me know... i can sell you a Verint/Nextive solution.
