Sylvain and all:
Remember that the actual side markers are incorporated within the headlamp assembly. They consist of the orange side reflective part and front parking lamp, visible to the side as well. The orange blinkers on the fender at the side behind the wheel well are NOT side markers, but side repeaters. Basically, if you clear out your lenses, you are out of compliance.
Ah well... It looks too good not to do it!! Hence I did it as well

enjoy!
actually, i have to give credit to GENERATION 1 in anaheim for the good work on the passenger side lite. the driver's side lite developed fog, and i re-sealed it last nite and today (hence no long trek to LA for today)

nope, the only difference is they were able to do what we attempted at sylvain's in about 2.5 hours
seriously, considering they've done at least 10 s2000's already, they're 'pros' when it comes to taking the bumper and headlite on-n-off, which takes most of the time. but when it comes to opening the housing and sealing it back up, no different technique--just plain ol' silicone.
i happened to be their first customer that has ever experienced any fogging/condensation of the lens. this is obviously due to a flaw in the sealing. dean, the manager of GENERATION 1, stands behind all their work, and was willing to reseal the headlite. i was going down there to have it fixed, but decided that the 12 hour round trip was a bit excessive, and was brave enough to try and correct the problem myself.
all in all, pretty happy with the results. and, the turn signal bulbs were changed to those bluish bulbs (supposedly closer to the HID color)
